Vince Zampella, Has Died in an LA Vehicle Accident
Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a vehicle crash in the state of California at the age of 55.
Zampella's death was verified by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the development studio which he helped establish.
The renowned video game developer lost his life when his automobile collided and was engulfed in flames on a highway in Los Angeles on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.
"This is a heartbreaking loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and all those touched by his legacy," a representative from Electronic Arts said.
